These can be paid on the second floor of the City Municipal Building at 998 Monmouth Street, Newport, KY. Call 292-3660.

There is a once a week pickup by Rumpke at a cost of $49.50 per year per address, or a recycling drop off at the City Garage at 1020 East 9th. See the attached flyer for more details.

Yard sale permits are $10 as of 7/1/07. May have 2 per year, per person or address. The year runs from July 1 to June 30. Permits are issued on a rain or shine basis. They may be obtained at the City Municipal Building, second floor.

Circuit Court issues drivers licenses, I.D. Cards, eviction and divorce papers, bankruptcy and custody cases. Circuit Court is located in the Campbell County Courthouse at 4th and York Streets in Newport. Call 292-6314. District Court handles traffic matters, misdemeanors, juvenile matters, small claims forcible detainer actions, paternity actions, limited civil actions, preliminary hearings on felons and restraining orders.
