Salaries:             Lifeguards $10.00   per hour

Firefighter I / EMT Positions

This is skilled position in combating and preventing fires for a city fire department. An employee in this position is responsible for performing hazardous tasks in fighting fires, performing emergency medical services, and for routine tasks in the maintenance of firefighting and medical facilities and equipment. Twenty - four (24) months or more experience. Duties are performed under close supervision of the Lieutenant or high rank.

Fire/Medic Positions

This is skilled position that performs Advance Life Support. An employee in this position is responsible for providing emergency medical care to the sick and injured, and for safe and efficient transportation of patients to a medical facility. Also, responsible for performing hazardous tasks in fighting fires and for routine tasks in the maintenance of firefighting facilities and equipment. Duties are performed under close supervision of the Lieutenant or higher rank.
